Italkit cylinders are produced by Italy's legendary Gilardoni factory and as expected benefit from high end manufacturing systems, great reliability and performance. This particular kit is the top of their line and has some big differences to the previous Italkit 70cc kit we were stocking. From the outside it looks the same with the two piece head for efficient cooling and aluminium nikasil lined barrel. The barrel itself has 6 transfer ports that are much bigger than the previous kit but the main changes are on the exhaust port as it has two additional booster ports. The piston is made by vertex and has 1 piston ring a long with a molybdenum disulfide coating to help reduce friction. We expect this kit to be a lot revvier than their eco kit and a serious contender for any other mid race kit.

To get the best from this one we would recommend a larger carburettor although good results are achievable with an increase in jetting and suitable exhaust system.
