When fitting this model with a DEP exhaust system, we recommend standard jet settings. However, we do advise that a spark plug check is made as the jetting may need changing during extreme conditions, e.g. temperature, track conditions and sea level elevation changes.
Run the bike to maximum rpm, then decrease the rpm and stop the engine. Remove the spark plug. If the tip on the spark plug shows a light brown to white colour, then replace the main jet with the next larger size. Re-do this exercise until the spark plug tip shows a clean black (not oily) to dark brown colour.
